Kaghan Valley In Pakistan Natural Beauty

The Kaghan Valley is a Valley at the north east of district of Mansehra of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. Many tourists from around the globe are attracted because of its never-ending beauty, offering an unforgettable experience. The valley was named after the town of Kaghan. Kunhar River also flows there. The highest apex point is 4,173 meters. The inhabitants of the place are very welcoming, friendly and there language in Hindko, Pushto and Urdu. Geographically, the region is full of Alpine trees with forests and peaks of height as much as 17,000 feet.

Kaghan is the perfect destination for trekkers and hill climbers. Hiking and trekking routes are being provided. Naran, Sharan and Shogran are ideal base camps. River Rafting and Kayaking are other physical activities that keep the visitors busy. Kunhar River is ideal for rafting and fishing. Adventure Foundation Pakistan train people the basic courses in October and April. Fishing for brown and rainbow trout is also a favorite past time for locals and foreigners. The instruments can be obtained from Fisheries Department Store. Thrilling jeep rides are also offered from Babusar pass to Naran.

Lulusar Dudipatsar National Park along with many remote mountains, lakes, streams, canals, glaciers, waterfalls, dales remains in a primeval state. Mostly people come here in summer from May to September. The temperature ranges from 3 °C up to 12 °C. However the access to mountains is restricted in winters. The access to Kaghan valley is normally from Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Balakot.

The three most popular lakes in Kaghan are Dudipatsar Lake, Lulusar Lake and Saiful Muluk Lake. Lake lulusar has a baby lake too. Saiful Muluk was named after the popular romantic folktale of a fairy princess and Persian Prince. It is said that fairies descend each night on the lake. It is about 3224 meters in height and one of the most beautiful lakes of Pakistan. When light reflects on the crystal clear waters, marvelous green hues are seen. The clarity and purity of waters is because of the melting of many glaciers from further northern areas.

Dudipat Lake is in between high peaks and one of the most difficult places to access. But that is what challenges mountaineers, hikers and trekkers from around the world to set their foot on. There are many hotels in the Naran. Gujar families are seen herding their animals. In spring season, the aroma and fragrance of plants is unfading. Local inhabitants usually wear traditional embroidered loose garments.

Kaghan valley is one of the beautiful valley in the world which enhances few natural lakes, water falls and glaciers it attracts the attention of international tourist like last year we took flights to Islamabad from Heathrow and we can't stop our self to visit northern areas of Pakistan as it is just like heaven in earth.
